TECHNOLOGIES | Titan Data Vault Administrator

The Titan Data Vault Administrator resides on a Windows™ workstation and manages local and/or remote Titan Data Vault Agents. With the Administrator you can manage hundreds of backups of computers across your local and wide area network from a single system. The Administrator lets you define the how, what, when and where for your backups.

The Administrator uses RPC's to communicate control and status information with Titan Data Vault Agents. More than one Administrator may exist on a network and control multiple Titan Data Vault Agents.

The Administrator has a Windows™ Explorer look and feel. The Titan Data Vault Agents that it is aware of show up in the left panel. Double-clicking on an Agent will bring up an index in the right panel of backup tasks and other control entities that may be modified or viewed remotely.
